PWD Architecture is looking for an interior architect to join its team in Beijing, China.

We want you to become a part of the design team in our Beijing office. You will be supporting our team with your exceptional interior designing skills in bringing business and living spaces to life.

The role:

  • develop functional interior design solutions
  • sketch preliminary design plans
  • support our design team in producing floor plans and drawings for construction and installation
  • research concepts and materials, taking under consideration current and future social development trends
  • prepare and participate in client presentations
  • select furniture, materials, décor and finishes while keeping within the budget

We are looking for a person who has:

  • experience in hotels and residential interior design projects; commercial and big-scale interior design projects would be a plus
  • knowledge within the relevant laws and  regulations in People’s Republic of China
  • understanding of principles of functional space planning
  • artistic ability to develop unique and aesthetically pleasing designs
  • ability to combine detail-orientation and bigger picture approach
  • excellent interpersonal and written skills
  • advanced problem-solving skills
  • superior time management skills
  • capability to multi-task projects of various scales
  • independent decision-making ability within a rapidly changing environment
