Job description
Thomas Davies Kitchens is a friendly and creative kitchen design studio with a diverse portfolio of high end residential projects in and around south London and Surrey.
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and savvy individual to join our small team in a varied senior support role. They will manage the daily operations of the studio and directly assist the two directors in both professional and personal matters. The role will enable the right individual to develop their creative design skills alongside general administration and office management. As the work will be varied we are looking for a professional and experienced all-rounder with excellent people and organizational skills, who can hit the ground running.
Roles and responsibilities
- management of the office operations and studio, to include purchasing, facilities management, answering the phone and emails, scheduling meetings and projects, contact management with clients and suppliers.
- supporting the design directors with sales and account management, to include attendance at client meetings, note taking, kitchen designs and quotations, liaising with clients
- PA support to directors with diary management and other personal tasks as needed
- website, PR, marketing and social media – Instagram, Houzz, Pinterest etc.
- financial support: invoicing, online bookkeeping and bank reconciliations, payroll
- HR support: contracts, recruitment, inductions

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
- proficiency in written and spoken English
- at least three years relevant experience in a similar role
- passion about design and ideally kitchens
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and various social media software. Experience in Xero and furniture/kitchen design software such as Sketchup and Winner is desirable but not essential
- excellent interpersonal skills: over the phone, face-to-face and electronically
- expert organisational skills with the ability to efficiently multitask
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- excellent attention to detail
- ability to manage own time effectively
- a smart and professional appearance
