PR manager

SHH has a vacancy for an PR manager to join its London-based office.

SHH are looking for a PR manager/consultant to join our 65 strong practice in west London three days per week. The role will be office based working closely with the commercial director to raise the profile of the practice both across the UK and overseas.

The role would suit someone who is dynamic, motivated and used to working in a busy, creative and fast-paced environment. Over the years the practice has appeared in press all over the world, and won nearly 100 awards, and we would like this to continue.

The role will require you to:

  • plan publicity strategies and campaigns
  • write and produce presentation and press releases
  • deal with enquiries from the press and related organisations
  • organise teams to attend relevant promotional events such as conferences, open days, exhibitions etc.
  • actively provide relevant bodies and publications with relevant and up to date information about the practice and its activities
  • analyse media coverage
  • commission/undertake market research where necessary
  • liaise with journalistic staff about timescales and budgets to ensure that no opportunities are missed
  • list and analyse awards, organise submissions in a timely manner where relevant and take full ownership for this
  • actively task team members with providing information about their projects so that you can write press releases/literature on them in a timely manner
  • social media account management including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • some website admin and updating under the direction of the commercial director

  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • good IT skills (Adobe CC Suite)
  • presentation skills
  • initiative
  • ability to prioritise and plan effectively
  • willingness to work as part of a team, and ability to work independently
  • at least five years’ experience
  • creativity
  • an understanding of the design/property market or a willingness to learn fast

We would also be happy to discuss this role with consultants working on a day rate, as long as they were happy to complete the days they worked for SHH from within the SHH offices.
