Digital communications executive

Tom Dixon is seeking a digital communications executive to join its team in London.
As digital communications executive you will work closely with the digital communications manager to implement digital communication campaigns in line with the overarching global marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and consideration.
Increasing digital has become the driving force in many brands’ growth strategies and Tom Dixon is no exception. You will be a key driver of this growth by executing our digital content plan (email and social) and managing our online communities with the aim of turning followers into customers as well as optimising our customer lifetime value (retention).
This is a full-time role based in London and reports into the digital communications manager.

About the role
Day to day responsibility for managing the global owned media and communications channels, communities and customer databases.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
- social media and community management – supporting the development and delivery of a social media content plan that contributes fully to the wider digital marketing strategy. This includes writing engaging blog posts and articles, developing competitions and UGC campaigns that drive our brand reach and desirability as well as reporting on and analysing performance on channel relevant KPI’s, using tools such as Google Analytics or Sprout Social
- you will also be responsible for all community management activities, such as monitoring brand hashtags and responding to comments on social, to drive engagement and follower growth
- organic content and email communication – plan and deliver our editorial website content and direct mail communications, ensure consistency of brand voice and alignment with the global editorial calendar. You will track customer behaviour and engagement with content, identify customer data segmentation and use insights to implement effective messaging and personalisation concepts
- customer loyalty – support the development and creation of innovative ways to engage existing users and customers and increase ‘lifetime’ value
- together with the digital marketing manager and the digital communication manager, you will implement our new digital marketing platform and deliver exponential growth following the successful launch
About you
More specifically:
- at least two years’ experience in a similar role or in an agency role
- proven track record executing social and email communications plans and delivering followers and engagement growth
- hands-on experience with social media and community management (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube, etc.)
- excellent copywriting skills and an eye for design and aesthetics
- ability to identify and track relevant community/channel metrics
- superb written and verbal communication skills. You naturally ignite great rapport with people and adapt your style to all levels
- attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment
- strong understanding of current online communications channels, concepts and best practice
- an entrepreneur mindset and a can-do attitude. You are motivated by challenges and solutions driven
