About the role
The project administrator is a key member of the admin team, providing support to the technical team and managing all aspects of the team’s project administration.
Key responsibilities:
- act as the go to person for the administration of a project, supporting the directors, associate directors and teams as required
- undertake aspects of document control
- manage and maintain project records on SharePoint and server ensuring that the relevant information is in the appropriate project folders
- take minutes in key milestone/kick off meetings; prepare and distribute agendas
- support directors with research for bid submissions/proposals
- create and maintain project logs
- undertake event booking and travel arrangements when required
- maintain and update resource planner
- coordinate weekly resource meetings
- assist in monitoring the life-cycle of a project through project controls base around its project methodology, reviewing and tracking project deadlines and milestones
- provide support and cover to project administrators and receptionists as required
Skills and experience required:
- proficiency in using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Oracle, InDesign, Illustrator and Viewpoint is essential
- a minimum of one to two years’ project administration experience within construction design industry (engineering, architecture, interior design and/or other)
- experience in a professional services environment
- experience of working in a fast-paced, people-orientated environment, juggling many priorities at once
- good organisational, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- a proactive mindset and good team player
- excellent written and verbal communications skills
- a confident personality that can communicate and engage at all levels
- a valid right to work in the UK is essential
