Design assistant/draughtsperson
at QPM
QPM is looking for a design assistant/draftsperson to become part of its team in Birkirkara, Malta.
We are looking for a dynamic, creative architecture student (or graduate) who is both passionate about the built environment industry and high-end residential properties. You will get a chance to liaise and work directly with our designers, project managers and contractors, get hands-on experience and be involved with many different aspects of a project from conception to completion.
Key requirements:
- demonstrable track record of high academic achievements
- knowledge of interiors and specifications is essential
- have excellent design knowledge; proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is necessary. Proficiency using Revit would be considered an asset
- freehand drawing skills and knowledge of other design software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Powerpoint would be considered advantageous
- have a keen eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and be competent in creating and taking concepts to production
- be motivated and have a ‘can-do’ attitude
- have good communication and presentation skills
- clear thinking, organisation and time management skillset
