Mark Lewis Interior Design has an opening for a studio assistant to join its practice in London.
We are Mark Lewis Interior Design, a small (but perfectly formed) interior design studio based in north London. We help busy people create homes that feel like home, blending 19th century architecture with modern English design.
We are seeking a studio assistant to join us, to predominantly focus on growing and developing our ‘home store’ (online shop) side of the business as well as other studio management duties. We are a small team, so there is ample opportunity to get involved in different aspects of the business and the potential to evolve and progress the role.
Role:
- full-time permanent position
- starting salary – £18.5K
Responsibilities
Managing the home store:
- new product development
- liaising with home store suppliers
- coordinating photo shoots for product imagery
- keeping the home store website up to date
- managing customer enquiries and orders
Marketing and PR:
- managing PR enquiries and approaching blogs and magazines
- managing marketing elements such as mail outs and flyering
General office management:
- logging office expenses
- keeping the office organised and tidy
- managing and ordering office supplies
Design/project management assisting:
- carrying out measured surveys
- producing drawings using SketchUp
- sourcing products, furniture, fixings and materials
Nice to have:
- experience using SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
