Design assistant

Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler is looking for a design assistant to join one of its interior design teams based in London.
The role:
- working with the head designer on all fabrics, furnishings, lighting schemes and spatial planning
- assisting in client meetings and site meetings with contractors
- assist in all aspects of the projects based in the UK and abroad
- assist with sourcing and creating presentations to include all aspects of decoration
- raising estimates, orders and invoices
- assisting in the coordination of all deliveries and installations
- general day-to-day office management
Skills required:
- at least two years’ experience in a high-end interior design company
- a wide knowledge of suppliers and all aspects of the interior design industry
- good knowledge of estimating programmes
- a high-level of accuracy, numeracy, written English and attention to detail is a must
- hard-working and well presented
- must have a clean driving licence
- and most of all be passionate about design, style, and decorating
