Job description

Büro Ole Scheeren is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to assume the role of junior content designer based in the Berlin office. In this role you will help implement the firm’s business development and communications strategy and strengthen the firm’s public image through the creation of high-quality print and digital content.

Role:

  • plan, visualise, and design press and marketing materials (press releases, press kits as well as other marketing collaterals) in line with company brand guidelines
  • plan, visualise and design business development materials, including RFPs and PQQs, client pitches, presentations and office portfolios, in line with company brand guidelines
  • plan, visualise, assemble and design architectural award submissions as well as academic presentations and lectures
  • provide research and analysis to support presentations, lectures and inform marketing and business development strategy
  • ensure consistent application of the brand identity across all external documentation
  • support handling of incoming press requests
  • maintain and update the press database
  • monitor company press mentions and articles as well as general industry news
  • compile press clippings and keep the press archive up to date
  • coordinate events, photoshoots and marketing initiatives as required

  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • knowledge of and passion for architecture and design
  • enthusiastic and energetic
  • highly-organised and detail-orientated, able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines
  • capable of multi-tasking

Experience and skills:

  • proficient in InDesign
  • proficient in Photoshop
  • proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • able to write clearly about architecture and the architectural process
  • experience managing website content and social media accounts
  • experience working to short deadlines and balancing competing priorities
  • knowledge in assembling RFPs and PQQs desirable

Languages: fluent in English, other languages in particular German desirable
