Textile designer
Romo Group has an opportunity for a textile designer to join its Zinc Textile team in London.
Zinc Textile, part of the Romo Group, is a young, innovative and successful textile brand. We now require a talented and hungry textile designer to join our small dynamic team based in Chelsea Wharf London SW10.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- working with the brand director and design team to ensure the smooth running of the studio
- collaborating with colleagues focusing on colouring and design development
- liaising with suppliers to provide feedback on trials and developments throughout the design process
- assist in photoshoot production
The successful candidate will be conversant with both print and weave design, Photoshop, CAD, be style aware and have a strong interest in interior design. A degree in textile design or similar qualification is essential for this role, in addition to a flexible approach to work with strong organisation and communication skills. Equally important is a willingness to turn their hand to anything and to be able to work under pressure. For more details on our brand please visit our website.
In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in the creation of fabrics to be launched to the international market.
