Patricia Urquiola Studio is inviting applications for a concept architect/interior designer to join its team in Milan, Italy.
You will work on a wide range of international projects. We are looking for someone highly creative and naturally curious, passionate about Patricia Urquiola’s identity, who can take a brief, create a concept and follow it through.

Concept architect/interior designer
We are recruiting an extremely talented concept architect/interior designer with a related educational background with minimum five-eight years of significant experience in design field to develop new concepts with a deep understanding of concept and materials research, production technology, relation with client and project schedule management. We need someone to bring creative talent to the role.
Responsibilities:
- duties and responsibilities will be broad and include concept design, space planning, FF&E and joinery documentation
- strong ability to research across industries and synthesise valuable insights
- creative team player: working with the team to create new concepts from sketches to final presentation with renders and technical details
- multi-tasking: managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet all deadlines
- great communicator: having the ability to communicate both international clients and team and understand/respond to their needs
- time and team management: managing in a professional and productive way. Motivating people is crucial too
- independent decision making: being able to take the next step to solve the problems and proceed the design process
- client management: being capable to communicate with clients, manage the timing of the projects, moderate the team
- capable of designing and generating production ready data

- strive for continuous improvement and excellence
Requirements:
- minimum five-eight years of working experience in interior design field, related master degree is a plus
- consistent creativity, capability in sketching and generating ideas
- closeness with the studio identity and direction
- previous experience working on high-end retail, hotel, residential, offices and exhibition sectors
- excellent communication skills in English, both speaking and writing
- highly proficient skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Rhino/3D Studio or other 3D visualisation programs will be beneficial
- presentation skills
- ability and passion to travel all around the world
- high management and communication skills (verbal/sketching/InDesign)
