Architect/intern
at Crox
Crox is seeking an architect/intern with more than two years of experience to join its team in Shanghai, China.
You will be required to work closely with all team members on multiple projects consecutively. Strong time management skills and the ability to work alone and with others is a must. The architect will be directly responsible for the oversight, review, and delivery of design documents at all stages of the architectural process. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is professional with excellent communication skills, and can successfully assist with all levels of project management.
Requirements include:
- possess a bachelors or higher degree in architecture
- have at least two years of experience in global leading architect firms or architectural design institute (experience in all phases of project work including preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents/supporting materials)
- expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Illustrator, Adobe Cs, SketchUp at least
- experience in architecture design production through all phases of design and construction strong attention to detail
- exceptional organisational skills
- ability to multi-task and prioritise within a fast-paced environment
- strong work ethic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Preferred qualifications:
- strong knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques, building systems selection
- hand sketching
- could use Revit and Maya
- interested in and familiar with Chinese culture
This is a full-time position. All candidates should be eligible to work in China.
