Freelance magazine designer
at Blueprint Magazine
Blueprint magazine is looking for a freelance editorial designer to design and art direct the magazine in London.
The designer will also design and art direct material for associated events such as the annual Blueprint Awards (October) and our summer graduate show Blueprint for the future.
You will need to have a strong history of working on printed material and be able to work fast and very precisely, with creativity married to an eye for detail.
Naturally, a deep familiarity with Adobe software is needed and we are looking for a designer who also has some digital realm design experience. Enthusiasm for design and architecture is a plus.
Initially, we want a designer to work with us for a three-week block every other month, in the run-up to sending the magazine off to print and then on an ad-hoc basis on other projects.
We have a central London office in Hatton Garden and will need you to work in-house for the majority of each three-week period.
Blueprint has an illustrious 37-year history and we are looking for someone who can take up the challenge of not only maintaining our extremely high standards but who is confident enough to move the magazine into its next phase.
