Experienced Part-II or qualified architect
Studio McLeod is looking for an experienced Part-II or qualified architect to join its team in London.
Studio McLeod is a multi award-winning architect’s studio crafting emotionally comforting and exciting architecture.
We are looking for a motivated Part-II or qualified architect with a passion for learning and crafting beautifully sculpted buildings. We need someone who is a good all rounder. You would be involved on all aspects of our projects: working on a selection of residential remodelling schemes, new build houses and larger scale developments including our shortlisted scheme for Sevenoaks nature and wellbeing centre. Part-III qualification will be supported.
Required skills and experience:
- please show evidence of one or both of these within your portfolio and/or cover letter
- UK private residential experience at all stages
- UK apartment or multiple unit housing experience for planning and building regulations applications
Preferred skills and experience:
- excellent spoken and written communication skills
- confident with production drawings
- passion for construction and understanding how things go together
- proactive, confident and able to show initiative working independently and as part of a team
- good presentation skills
- well organised with good time management skills
- fast learner able to adapt to new challenges
- confidence with Vectorworks and Artlantis ideal though we will give training
- adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Word and Excel required
