Part 2 architectural assistant
Due to our expanding workload Formed Architects & Designers are looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant with a minimum of one years’ experience to work in our London, Chiswick office with immediate start availability.

Essential skills/qualifications for this Part 2 architectural assistant role:
- Part 2 qualified and ideally you will have UK-based practice experience
- UK planning and statutory legislation knowledge and experience
- strong portfolio to prove architectural design skills
- visual and spatial awareness and a meticulous eye for detail
- a good understanding of construction and detailing, building regulations and quality standards
- excellent hand drawing skills and proficiency with design software — SketchUp, Revit and AutoCAD
- strong imagination
- excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- fluent use of the Microsoft Office suite
- tech-savvy with a desire to explore innovation
- highly organised and a can-do attitude
To work as a Part 2 architectural assistant you will be:
- working as part of a team, assisting on development of design proposals
- assisting in the preparation of drawings, reports, visualisations, schedules and specifications
- coordinating designs with other members of the team
- producing planning application drawings and develop further detailed stages suitable for building regulation applications, tender and construction
- liaising with clients and other consultants to develop designs and prepare documentation for tender purposes, including specification writing
- you must be eligible to work in the UK
