Space Modification Unit (SMU) has an opportunity for architectural designers to join its team in Beijing.
About
Space Modification Unit is a young, award-winning studio; practising architecture, interior and exhibition design, content communication and branding. We operate in a framework of interdisciplinary collaborators as a team apt to the zeitgeist.
We offer long-term prospects within the supportive and stimulating environment of our international design network, with the opportunity to build and further your career. Our current developments include education facilities, a city planning exhibition centre, brand showrooms.
We are looking for talented architectural designers of various level of experience to be part of our growing studio.
Role:
- you will be working on the design of projects from concept to construction, in the development of architectural drawings and models as well as research and graphic representation
- you will share our passion to think different and further develop your design sensitivity together with a sound understanding of what it takes to comprehensively design and realise projects
- you are contributing actively to the development of our growing practice.
- you have an excellent academic background with a professional degree in architecture or spatial design
- you are able to process information and articulate ideas.
- you enjoy being part of a team in a dynamic and ambitious work environment
- you are adept in AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup and Adobe Suites. Proficient in Mandarin or English, ideally both
