At Maiden Home, we’re seeking talented and design-obsessed individuals to join our category-defining home furnishings brand. As an energetic, creative, and detail-oriented Furniture Design Consultant, you’ll support the Product & Merchandising team in expanding our collection of beautiful, well-crafted pieces.
Responsibilities
Product design plays a pivotal role in building our collection and establishing our brand as a design authority in the furniture market. As our furniture design consultant, you will:
- work on a freelance basis
- study the furniture market to establish our key differentiators from a design perspective
- create design concepts for future furniture collections with guidance from our CEO and in-house team
- identify design trends and features that our customers will love
- help source fabrics and materials that will enhance our collection

Requirements
- degree in furniture, interior, and/or product design
- well-versed in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- refined eye for design and elevated taste
- highly personable and able to work cross-functionally
- ability to work under tight deadlines and take ownership of tasks
- excellent 3d-modeling, visualization, and drawing skills
- knowledge about fabrication and production techniques
