ADP is seeking a chartered architectural technologist or qualified architect to join its Manchester, UK team.

The role:

  • assisting with the technical design elements of projects
  • producing strong effective designs with appropriate competent technical solutions that align with our vision
  • taking responsibility for the production, coordination and integrity of project specific  information
  • taking responsibility for all project specific quality management tasks
  • ensuring that all work is prepared in accordance with the practice’s BIM standards and protocols and maintaining a detailed knowledge of BIM processes and software associated with design
  • ensuring that the service is delivered in accordance with the quality management system
  • megularly reviewing the design against the project brief and participate in design reviews
  • maintaining detailed knowledge of current legislation, regulations and standards
  • maintaining detailed knowledge of modern methods of construction
  • maintaining suitable knowledge of sector specific regulations and legislation
  • maintaining a clear understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work
  • contribute to the continual improvement of  practices procedures/methods
  • consider CDM and health and safety in all our design work, and work to design out and minimise risk

About you:

  • three plus years’ experience post qualification
  • have good technical understanding, with experience producing RIBA stage 3 and four packages
  • competent in Revit and Enscape
  • experience or interest in Healthcare and/or Science architecture would be an advantage
