Senior industrial designer

Map is looking for a senior industrial designer to join its studio in London.
With expertise that spans the breadth of contemporary design, Map creates work that takes account of every aspect of research, development and manufacture. Since 2012, they have created products from quantum computers to bioplastic sporks, working with the worlds leading brands as well as small, digital startups.
Qualifications and skills:
- at least eight years’ relevant industry experience or five years post MA
- exceptional CAD skills with a world class attention to detail
- proven understanding of complex geometry
- expertise in materials, production processes and design for manufacture
- highly creative and innovative approach
- strategic thinker who is able to work across a number of sectors
- strong administrative, team management and client facing skills
- possess a positive and proactive attitude
- excellent industry and historic knowledge of design
- able to work in the UK
