Your mission
Ableton is growing and transforming. With 400 employees between our two Berlin offices, we are looking for an Interior Designer to drive the evolution of Ableton’s workplace environments. Together with the office design/build team and relevant stakeholders, your goal is to create workspaces that are comfortable, productive and keeping with contemporary design. The post-Covid workplace will be seen as both a challenge and an opportunity for you to help us reshape the way we at Ableton collaborate.
Your role:
- ideate, sketch, create, mockup and prototype concepts together with your team
- visualise spatial layouts and present them to both internal and external stakeholders
- produce detailed and accurate construction document packages including plans, sections, elevations and details
- specify finishes, materials, colour palettes, lighting fixtures, custom furniture and all installations
- research, follow and document industry changes, evolutions and best practices
- deliver projects successfully from concept to completion on time, budget and to the highest standard
- cocreate and maintain Ableton’s interior design standards and material library
Your profile:
- degree in interior design, interior architecture or similar
- three-plus years’ professional experience, preferably in office interiors
- fluency in both English and German
- proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D or other design programs
- experience in liaising with external stakeholders, contractors and consultants
- team player who is detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative and open-minded
- willingness and ability to work from Berlin

- project management, budgeting and construction supervision experience
