Prest Vale Architects is seeking a talented ARB registered project architect with at least three years post-Part 3 experience to join its team in London.
We are looking for a skilled, thoughtful and confident architect. Working closely with our team and directors, you will have the opportunity to run exciting projects of various scales and types: from multi-unit residential schemes to the adaptive reuse of highly significant heritage sites.
We deliver architectural and interior projects of varying use, for both private and commercial clients. A selection of our current jobs include the refurbishment and extension of a 30,000sqft Grade II listed hotel on the edge of Hyde Park, a deep retrofit of a 20,000sqft former dairy building in Notting Hill to create a wellness centre, as well as the sensitive refurbishment of a Grade I Listed Gatehouse in the City of London to create a gallery and workspace.
We are a team of talented and highly motivated designers and we encourage everyone in the office to contribute to and be involved in the design process. We care very much about the development of our team members and we are always looking to help them grow. Most importantly we like our studio to be a happy, creative and enjoyable place to work.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical and presentation skills, whilst possessing a thorough and thoughtful approach to design. They will be passionate about architecture and have a working understanding of all RIBA work stages. Key qualities for this role include a collaborative spirit for working within a team, strong organisational and communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Vectorworks, SketchUp and Enscape is essential, as well as a good understanding of Photoshop and other relevant software.
