Kirkwood McLean Architects is seeking an associate director to join its team in London.
The successful Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably in UK markets. The candidate should have a strong proven track record managing teams on complex projects. The candidate should be able to confidently demonstrate the following:
- experience of UK construction industry, preferably high-end residential
- over ten years’ ARB registration
- strong communication skills
- strong client facing experience
- strong site experience (much of our work is on site)
- aptitude for business development
- aptitude for systems development (improving efficiencies)
Due to Covid restrictions our anticipation is that the role will be worked from home. In order to assist this, access to technology and assistance in the creation of a comfortable working environment will be provided. The practice will also provide the successful candidate membership to the Union Club and House of St Barnabas, which can be utilised as and when central London working space/meetings are required.
Whilst the practice is located in London, the remote nature of working in the current environment means that we will happily discuss the role with candidates who do not live in London.
The role proposed role is full-time, flexible working hours are acceptable though we request that five core hours are worked between 10am and 6 pm
Kirkwood McLean offer 20 days holiday, with additional days offered over xmas and new year when the office traditionally closes. Candidates who complete the three month probationary period will be enrolled onto the practice pension scheme.
