Dezeen is looking for an editorial intern to join its team in London, UK.
Dezeen is the world’s most influential online design and architecture magazine with three million readers a month.
We’re looking for a bright and ambitious person with an interest in architecture and design and a passion for writing to undertake a three-month internship with our UK editorial team.
Applicants must be available to start in January 2021 and be able to work full-time for three months. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the role will largely require remote working, but you will also be required to come into our Covid-secure office in Hoxton at least once every two weeks, and perhaps more frequently, subject to the latest government guidance.
You will be assisting our editorial team with daily activities.
Duties will include:
- preparing images for publication
- assembling posts for the website
- sourcing, researching and writing stories
- maintaining archives and databases
- administrative tasks as they arise
Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent written and spoken English, strong research skills, a high level of computer literacy and good knowledge of the architecture and design industries.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and WordPress would be an advantage.
The role would suit a student or recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in architecture and design publishing.
