Arney Fender Katsalidis is seeking a Part 1/2 architect to join its office in London.

We are looking for a Part 1/2chitect to join our vibrant London studio working on a large-size residential projects. The right candidate will have strong Revit skills and experience in residential projects based in London. Advanced knowledge of Revit, Rhino and Adobe Suite are required for this role.

The role

As a Part 1/2 architect you will be working on large-scale commercial and residential projects. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for design.

Main responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • preparing drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes using computer-aided design software
  • working as part of a team of architects and interior designers contributing to both the design and delivery of projects
  • developing design concepts and establishing final briefs, considering materials and costs according to set budgets
  • assisting with the production of feasibility reports, specifications, presentations, reports, applications for planning, tenders and other documents as required

  • able to prioritise challenging deadlines and work independently on own initiative, whilst also able to take instruction

Qualification/skills and experience:

  • RIBA Part 1 or recently Part 2-qualified
  • commercial and residential experience
  • experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros, Sketchup, Grasshopper, Adobe Suite and MS Office
  • an understanding of current planning guidelines and UK building regulations
  • strong conceptual design and graphics skills
  • an understanding of the design of projects and tasks related to the advancement of that design
