Reid Brewin Architects has an opportunity for a Part 3-qualified architect to join its London-based team.

An exciting opportunity for a Part 3 qualified architect to become a key player with a young, international practice in Paddington, central London.

Reid Brewin Architects was founded in Paris in 2006 and specialises in a variety of projects from data centres and commercial projects to luxury boutiques for global clients.

With a growing client base of international companies, we established a central London practice in 2016 and are now seeking to expand. Reid Brewin Architects is a broadminded studio with a culture of inclusion where we aim to provide a rewarding and enjoyable working environment and ethos.

We are looking for a Part 3 qualified architect (for immediate start) who is confident dealing with clients, planners and contractors to work from our studio in Paddington.

Role

Reid Brewin Architects are currently seek a Part 3 qualified architect with good all-round design and technical skills to work on a number of data centre projects. The role requires an architect who is capable of working autonomously, with minimal supervision, across all RIBA work stages.

The preferred candidate will be comfortable liaising with clients, planners, building control, compiling presentations and have previous experience producing complete tender, detail and construction information.

The role includes:

  • developing concept design proposals, including presentation to clients and planners
  • technical development and detailed design to meet UK building regulations and planning requirements
  • preparation of tender and construction information
  • proposing solutions to design and construction issues as projects develop

Skills:

  • three years’ post-Part 3 professional experience in a UK architectural practice
  • excellent design, communication, and presentation skills
  • full proficiency in Revit in a working office environment
  • the ability to work individually, with a good degree of self-motivation
  • good experience of the UK planning system and building regulations
  • an ability to communicate well with clients and associated professionals
  • previous data centre experience advantageous
