Architectural project lead

Dallas-Pierce-Quintero is seeking an architectural project lead to join its team in London.
We are looking for an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant or qualified architect with a strong background in residential work to join our studio. We are a small multi-disciplinary team based in Hackney, working on a range of residential projects, from single homes to small developments across London and further afield.
We have a number of exciting projects in the pipeline and are looking for a highly motivated, talented person to join our team and act as the project lead on a series of schemes. You should have a passion for delivering projects with an eye for detail and a can do attitude. You will be happy to work independently as well as part of a team, so flexibility and self-management are important. You should be confident dealing with consultants and contractors and happy liaising with clients, having assertiveness with diplomacy and tact.
In summary, we are looking for someone who has experience in all stages of residential projects, is hard-working and passionate about what they do.
Salary in the range of £30k-40k depending on experience.
Please only apply if you meet the following criteria:
- hands-on experience delivering contemporary residential projects
- confidence liaising with clients, contractors and consultant teams
- currently reside in the UK and have a minimum of three years’ work experience in the UK post Part 2
- excellent technical ability and experience of construction in the UK
- you will have excellent CAD drafting skills, as well as good hand sketching ability for quickly conveying ideas
- the studio uses Vectorworks (2D and 3D), so our preference is that you are fluid in Vectorworks 2D
- demonstrable design and presentation skills
- fluent in written and spoken English and a confident communicator
- job-running experience in the UK; particular at Stage 4 and onwards and contract administration experience
The following would be a bonus however not essential:
- knowledge of NBS Chorus
Whist the team is currently operating in compliance with Covid guidelines and based at home, we will be happy to discuss options for working from alternative workspaces if required. The role will necessitate some journeys to site as and when required, and we will establish safer alternatives for travel with the successful candidate. You will be lent a laptop with appropriate software installed for home-working.
