WOMO Architects is seeking an experienced technical architect to strengthen its Amsterdam studio.
At WOMO Architects, design excellence is realised through rigorous technical development. We are looking for a technically accomplished architect who enjoys translating ambitious architectural ideas into buildable, well-coordinated projects.
Our studio works internationally on residential, mixed-use and cultural developments, while delivering technically complex projects throughout the Netherlands.
Your role
Working alongside architects and project leaders, you will play a central role in developing technical documentation, coordinating design information and ensuring projects meet Dutch regulations and construction standards.
You will help bridge design and execution, ensuring that architectural quality is maintained throughout the delivery process.
Responsibilities:
- prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings for new-build projects
- translate architectural concepts into coordinated technical documentation
- collaborate closely with architects, consultants and project leaders
- coordinate drawing packages throughout project development
- ensure compliance with Dutch building regulations and construction standards
- contribute to the technical quality and buildability of our projects
We’re looking for someone who has:
- at least five years of relevant professional experience
- an MBO or HBO qualification in Building Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
- advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- excellent technical knowledge and strong attention to detail
- experience delivering technical documentation for Dutch construction projects
- spoken and written Dutch beneficial but not mandatory
- good command of English
- a proactive attitude, collaborative approach and commitment to continuous learning
