Zulufish is seeking a freelance architect/architectural designer to join its team in London.
Job description
We are a happy, busy and award-winning design studio, looking to recruit a self-motivated architect/architectural designer to join our growing team in Chiswick, West London.
Looking for someone to design architectural tender/construction packages for mid to high-end residential projects.
Must have over five years’ experience working on UK residential projects. Ideally looking for someone to start on a freelance basis with a view to joining on a permanent basis.
Criteria required:
- exceptionally proficient at Autocad. Proficient in Sketch up and photoshop desirable
- natural creative flair and able to produce well thought out space layouts and technical drawing packages
- must have an advanced level of construction knowledge, to enable to drawing packages to be able to used easily and understandably on site
- hands-on work ethic and a ‘can-do’ attitude. Adaptable, flexible and easy to work with, in a small company
- imaginative and resourceful with a keen eye for detail
- excellent interpersonal skills, particularly when building relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers
- extremely organised and thorough, planning ahead and scheduling
Hours: 9–6pm Monday to Friday in Chiswick West London
Starting salary negotiable depending on experience
Fluent in English, verbal and written
