About the job
Our growing team is seeking a highly organised and proactive candidate to fill the role of architectural sales manager (EMEA). Our talented team consists of designers, engineers, architects and software developers with a vast and exciting knowledge base. You will be joining a fun, energetic and motivated team.
The architectural sales manager role requires an individual that is ambitious and self-motivated with an eye for design. The primary responsibility of the Manager is to form, leverage and maintain relationships with the architectural and design community across the globe to create a specification of Arktura products and to increase the reach of Arktura with a goal of driving increased revenues. This should be achieved both through individual client and rep communications and strategically fostering the growth of the existing sales reps’ annual opportunity close rates.
Responsibilities:
- be an expert on Arktura products in order to provide technical support for specification inquiries
- communicate with sales admin and management team for product sales coordination
- work with the network of sales agents and distributors in local territories
- with sales team, identify relevant projects, key players and decision makers with the goal of increasing the frequency of Arktura product specifications by architects and designers during the design phase of projects and tracking specifications through to a completed sale
- develop and grow relationships with key industry contacts including: architects, designers, general contractors and end users
- report and track pertinent opportunity information using our CRM software regarding project specifications, pricing, changes and progress
- provide on-going technical expertise, guidance and education to architects and designers through regular calls and through active participation in key networking events
- develop sales strategies and techniques based on customer comments and market conditions
- complete monthly directives based on management instructions and achieve measurable goals
- use company software and resources to evaluate, price and quote projects for the sales agents and distributors
Requirements:
- two or more recent years of architectural sales or architectural manufacturing industry experience
- ability to understand, measure and work your way through architectural drawings
- familiarity with 3D models a plus
- exceptional oral and written communication skills in English
- ability to prioritise, work independently, and manage feedback and expectations effectively
- ability to develop proficiency on all products and stay current on trends to help contribute to the product development team
- ability to travel 50% of the time
- harness superior sales and customer service ability
- candidate must be based in Amsterdam or to have the possibility to relocate to Amsterdam
Skills:
- Salesforce and CRM savvy
- working knowledge of CAD
