London, UK
Installations coordinator
at KLS Interiors
KLS Interiors is seeking an installations coordinator to join its team in London.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced installations coordinator to work at our busy soft furnishings business in northwest London. We work with trade businesses within the interiors industry, many of whom we have long standing relationships with, crafting bespoke curtains and blinds, bed dressings, headboards, re-upholstery and cushions for residential and commercial projects both in the UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will be working within our office team and be solely responsible for our fitters’ schedules. You will be liaising directly with our installation team, clients and suppliers, working seamlessly to schedule new and existing installations through to completion. You will ensure all the necessary steps are taken to manage the diary in a professional and orderly way. This installation diary is subject to change on a daily basis and this must be sensitively but confidently managed in order to meet agreed installation deadlines.
The candidate will be responsible for checking and inputting the receipt of all fabrics and product orders into the workroom under the correct project number on our in-house project management system. You would also be responsible for the organising and booking of transport for various manufactured items from our workroom to the correct installation destination.
This role would not be suitable for a person who is looking to progress their career as an interior designer as this is purely an administrative office based role. The successful candidate must also be prepared to extend their responsibilities to other tasks that may arise during the working day, we are a small busy team and need a person with a proactive and flexible approach to this role.
Previous experience needed for this role is as follows:
- management of a busy diary system at senior level
- excellent and proven organisational skills
- confident yet professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- excellent time management skills
- ability to multi-task within a busy office environment
Previous experience within the soft furnishings business or interiors sector is preferred.
This is a full time role and the final salary will be agreed based on experience.
Written and verbal references required for the last two job roles. Please apply with your CV.
