Design coordinator

Archer Humphryes Architects is seeking a design coordinator to join its team in London.
We need someone to join us on one of our biggest projects for a landmark London project. You will be based on site in central London. The person we’re looking for is energetic, adaptable to change and works well to tight deadlines.
A typical day is hard to describe but includes:
- organising, participating and recording design meetings
- managing the flow of design information from external consultants and the design team, and ensure the established timescales are achieved
- coordination with the clients, consultants and design team (who are also based on site)
Job description:
- up-keep of the digital documentation of the project (project filing)
- meeting preparation, printing agendas and drawings ahead of the meetings
- compiling digital presentations for daily client meetings
- project programming and updating fee schedules
- communication between all three internal teams to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time
- compiling weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports for the client
- assisting the company directors in ad-hoc admin tasks
- coordination of the project teams while knowing/understanding upcoming demands
- liaise with specialists to provide information
- writing agendas and follow up notes
- arranging and attending meetings, writing minutes
Skills and experience:
- minimum two years spent in a similar role
- experience in architecture or the construction industry preferred
- project management qualification/experience preferred
- strong organisational and time management skills
- excellent verbal and written communication
- expert Microsoft Office skills essential
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) preferred
- experience using Aconex or other EDMS
- detail oriented with an eye on the bigger picture

- able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise urgent tasks
- well presented, this is a direct client facing role
- based in central London (must be available on site everyday)
- eligible to work in the UK
