MyHouseDesign is seeking a part-time junior interior designer to join its team in Glasgow.
MyHouseDesign is looking for a confident and friendly junior designer to join our team. We are a small boutique interior design company focusing on residential interior design. Candidates will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the business from design to meeting clients and working with contractors, playing a key role in all stages of projects from concept to completion. Candidates must be highly motivated and ready to adapt to all areas of the business. As a small business excellent communication skills are essential.
Key skills required:
- degree-level qualification in interior design or interior architecture
- a number of years experience working in the industry
- experience in sourcing materials, finishes & furnishings and presenting and scheduling FF&E
- project experience from concept to completion
- excellent communications skills
- strong skills in 2D and 3D software (AutoCAD/Sketchup/Adobe creative studio in particular photoshop)
- efficient with office 365
- ability to work in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines
- must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferable
This is a permanent part-time position (20 hours). All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
