PAD Studio is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its Hampshire, UK studio.

We are a small, collaborative practice working designing sustainable contemporary homes in sensitive landscapes, with a focus on craft, materiality and a strong connection to place. Our work is thoughtful and carefully made, and our studio culture is open, supportive and engaged.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is proactive and curious, and takes pride in producing clear, well considered drawings. Great CAD skills are essential.

Role:

• support the delivery of projects across all stages
• produce high quality drawings and presentation material
• work closely with the team in a studio based environment
• contribute positively to the culture and day to day life of the studio

Requirements:

• strong design sensibility and an eye for detail
• ability to produce clear, well crafted drawings
• great working knowledge of CAD
• interest in materials, landscape and context
• friendly, engaged and collaborative approach
• based in the UK and able to work regularly from our Hampshire studio
