Guy Goodfellow is looking for a highly organised, intelligent and motivated architectural and design assistant to join its team working three days per week in London.

Guy Goodfellow is a London-based interiors and architectural design practice which specialises in the refurbishment of large period houses.

The role will involve a variety of tasks across the business, giving invaluable experience and the opportunity to learn the workings of a busy and successful practice.  As part of the role, the person will be the in-house architectural focal point, liaising between the interior design team, the architectural consultants/draftsmen, the project contractors, project managers and the suppliers.

They will be required to provide the following architectural support:

  • overseeing all incoming and outgoing architectural/drawing related correspondence
  • maintaining drawing filing systems and ensuring all drawings are issued with an up-to-date drawing issue sheet
  • creating and maintaining architectural related schedules for all projects including sanitary ware, ironmongery and fixed lighting
  • obtaining supplier quotations for non-FF&E items
  • managing RFI’s, project programmes, weekly reports and project schedules to include IRS’s

The role is suited to someone who is eager to learn on the job, can work independently, is adaptable, can prioritise work and operate proactively in a small team. Drafting skills would be beneficial.

The role is to cover maternity leave.
