STUDIOGEE Architecture is seeking an architect/architectural designer to join its team in Austin.

We are seeking a full-time architect and architectural designer to grow our increasingly busy studio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four to six years of architectural experience in project design, project management, and project production for mid to large size commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. Ideal candidates should be able to flourish in a collaborative environment while working independently as a contributing member of a project team.
Requirements:
- bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design. Master’s degree preferred and an architectural license is a plus
- two to six years’ professional architectural experience, including experience creating construction document sets for permit and coordinating construction phase services. Mid to large size commercial, retail, and hospitality projects preferred
- knowledge of building codes. Projects are based in states across the country, so a broad knowledge of building codes is a plus
- demonstrate proficiency with computer design programs such as REVIT, AutoCAD, and SketchUp required. Adobe Suite, Bluebeam and other design programs a plus
- responsible for interpreting, organising, and executing design using creativity, foresight, and judgement to meet project requirements and deadlines
- able to graphically present ideas and communicate with clients efficiently and effectively
- must demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- be capable of working with a team of clients, designers, and consultants in producing high quality design drawings/specs while working with budgets/schedules
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at one given time
- superior time management skills and attention to detail
