Assael Architecture is seeking a project administrator to join its team in London.

Award-winning multi-disciplinary practice Assael Architecture is looking for an enthusiastic project administrator to join their growing team. Project administrators are key members of the studio, working closely with associate directors, team leads and team members to provide support in a number of ways. Alongside general administration duties, quality assurance and data control, the varied role includes assisting the architects and designers with the preparation of design reports and presentations. This role would be suited to a graduate with a creative degree, possibly a Part 1 architectural graduate, who would enjoy working in the industry and gaining some valuable experience at a reputable and sociable award-winning practice.

We’re a London-based practice providing a cohesive suite of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and visualisation services both in the UK an internationally. We work across a range of sectors, including hospitality, commercial and masterplanning, and specialise in residentially-led mixed-use schemes. We have many years of experience both in the refurbishment of listed buildings and the implementation of new build developments on redundant or brownfield sites.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and expertise:

  • degree level
  • studio administration experience is preferential, and some experience in the creative sector would be an advantage
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and previous experience in using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
  • sharp attention to detail
  • candidates must be able to demonstrate they can learn quickly, have self-initiative and work efficiently and effectively within the team
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

Summary of main responsibilities are to:

  • manage project document control
  • assist with quality assurance
  • assist with project documentation and design reports
  • assist with any typing, proofreading and formatting
  • diary management
  • general administration and office duties
