Project coordinator

The Conran Shop is seeking a project coordinator to join its team in London.

Our professional team needs two qualified project support coordinators. We are looking for  highly organised and efficient professionals who can multitask throughout the workday while prioritising the most important tasks on their list. We have a sales and project team, so you will be responsible for providing support to numerous individuals and coordinating with the finance team, providing an important link for all departments. Previous project/sales support experience is essential in securing the position.

About the role:

  • break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • help prepare budgets
  • analyse risks and opportunities
  • oversee project procurement, raising purchase orders in a timely fashion
  • monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • maintain an organised and accessible file system for administrative and sales professionals
  • assist with shipping requests and liaise with warehouses
  • assisting sales team members in managing outstanding quotes and closing these
  • participating in team projects and effectively managing individual projects around improving the efficiency of the sales function
  • attending exhibitions and events as required

About you:

  • proven work experience as a project/sales coordinator or similar role
  • an ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • excellent customer care skills
  • good written and verbal English
  • accuracy and attention to detail
  • an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • an ability to work independently and as a team
  • experience in the use of Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Word and the Internet as a research tool
  • experience of marketing software is advantageous
