David Chipperfield Architects is seeking to hire several Part 2 architectural assistants to join its team in London.

This role is for qualified architectural assistants with a masters degree in architecture. We are looking for those special few who are dedicated to creating great architecture, who are self-starters with team spirit and importantly who share our creative ambitions and passion for sustainability. We encourage diversity and applications from all backgrounds, races and genders.

You may be a brand new UK Part 2 graduate or have up to three years of work experience post-masters (not including internships or Part 1). If you have qualified outside of the UK, then a UK masters equivalent would be a degree up to five years full time studies graduating as a foreign qualified architect.

Key responsibilities

You will work as a part of team to deliver design driven architectural projects.  This will include researching, producing plans and drawings, making models, getting involved in architectural design and production. We encourage all team members to be involved in driving design development and have a voice as part of a collaborative process.

Skills, knowledge and expertise

You will need to have a recognised architectural degree Part 2 or equivalent qualification, an exceptional academic and career record, an impressive portfolio displaying strong design skills, be confident, organised and pro-active, have the ability to visualise, illustrate and present ideas clearly and be fluent in English.

Skills required: Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Digital design software, Modelmaking and Sketching.  This role is appropriate for graduate candidates with zero to three years of post-masters work experience.
