Senior producer – fashion shows and special events
at Studio BOUM

Studio BOUM is seeking a senior producer for fashion shows and special events to join its London team.

Studio BOUM is a special events studio. We produce fashion shows and unique brand experiences within the luxury, fashion and lifestyle industries.

BOUM are seeking a senior producer to lead the production and execution of upcoming events, experiences and special projects.

Extensive experience in producing high-end and complex brand experiences, with past projects including fashion shows and luxury brand events would be preferential for this role. Your career background should include having working closely with creatives, spatial designers, production teams and third party event suppliers from project brief, concept development through to execution.

The ideal applicant would be:

  • competent producing detailed and complex special event projects from briefing through to completion, including client liaison
  • highly experienced at producing special event projects working closely with clients and liaising with client teams throughout the project
  • experienced and competent at management of project budgets. Must have experience in managing budgets that are GBP£ 1million+
  • be familiar with working on accounting systems such as Xero, for project budget management (PO/Quote creation)
  • detail orientated and excellent at scheduling of all talent and logistics planning and execution.
  • have a desire to take a hands-on approach to the production as well as ability to delegate and manage a wider production team
  • the ability to troubleshoot to find solutions to meet both creative and budget briefs
  • skilled at managing not only client relationships from brief, concept development through to execution, but skilled in working to strict timelines and liaising with the in-house creative team to deliver on schedule
  • have adequate technical knowledge around set design / construction, lighting, sound, stage management, health, safety and risk assessing, and how all these elements intersect to make a successful event
  • be able to manage and move projects forward with an internal team of production and creative people

The ideal candidate:

  • at least 6 years fashion show and luxury event production experience
  • a good knowledge of leading industry suppliers and partners.
  • exceptional eye for detail and organisation skills.
  • cool and calm, positive demeanor in high stress event environments
  • good knowledge and an active interest in fashion, art and design
  • able to use Excel (a must), InDesign and Keynote.

Salary: negotiable – based on experience
