Architectural technician

Sage Gray Architects are seeking an experienced architectural technician to join its growing practice in Gloucestershire, UK.
Hours and days to be agreed, you will be working in collaboration with the directors.
The successful candidate will assist with a wide range of projects in the residential, commercial and historic building conservation sectors, from initial concept to completion, across sites in the Midlands and the South of England, working with both private and corporate clients.
Requirements:
- CAD literate, ideally 3D Vectorworks – SketchUp would be an advantage but not essential
- experience of preparing packages for planning and listed building consent
- good technical detailing with a thorough understanding of building regulations and detail design, including traditional construction
- ability to liaise with clients, contractors and local authorities
- good communication skills, both written and verbal
- flexible and motivated with a love of buildings
- due to the office location applicants will need the use of a car and clean driving licence, however an element of working from home can be considered
