Martin Brudnizki Design Studio is hiring an intermediate designer to join its New York office.
Martin Brudnizki Design Studio New York has a vacancy for an ambitious and talented intermediate designer with three to four years’ experience in both ID and FF&E to work on high end interior design projects in the Restaurant and Hospitality sectors.
An extremely high-level of AutoCAD is a must and a proficiency in Photoshop and SketchUp is essential. Current US building regulation knowledge as well as a comprehensive understanding of construction technology and a high level of joinery, detailing and FF&E is imperative. The individual should be a strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to coordinate, control and make decisions. A general all-rounder preferred.
The candidate should also:
- be meticulous, highly organized and efficient
- be a team player able to support and contribute to a positive working environment
- be capable of clear communication – fluent in English, both written and verbal
- be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign as well as having knowledge of SketchUp
- demonstrate confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
- show experience of delivering neat, clear and accurate design information and schedules
- be able to confidently represent the company externally and contribute to MBDS’s professional reputation and high level of attention to detail
