NP Architects is seeking an architectural technologist to join its team in Cambridge, UK.

NP Architects is growing chartered practice based in central Cambridge, specialising in design led residential work for both private clients and developers.

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual with good technical skills to join our team.

The responsibilities will be:

• production of construction packages – drawings, schedules and specifications
• liaising with clients, contractors, consultations, local planning authorities and building control in collaboration with the principal architect
• whilst initially reporting to the Principal Architect, your long term goal should be to take ownership of an increasing number of complex projects

Required skills:

• NP Architects has a strong reputation for high quality drawings so the successful candidate must have good experience in preparing working drawing construction packages and a working knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policy and quality standards
• a proven design capability would be an advantage
• experience of working on residential projects would be an advantage
• knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are essential. You will use AutoCAD daily and Revit on certain projects, so a working knowledge and practice in Revit is required. Knowledge of SketchUp would be desirable
