Karakusevic Carson Architects is looking for a BIM coordinator or technician to join its team in London.
Karakusevic Carson Architects is hiring an experienced Revit architect/architectural technician or technologist to join our team as BIM coordinator to work on large public sector housing commissions at RIBA stages 3-5, starting immediately.
Karakusevic Carson Architects is an award-winning and design focused Practice specialising in public sector work. Our projects are currently delivered through Autodesk Revit.
You will be responsible for:
- monitoring and streamlining models
- building project families and monitoring the project family library
- mentor and manage other team members less experienced using Revit
- discuss and work alongside the BIM Manager
- coordination with consultants and subcontractors
- maintain office standards
We seek a person who:
- is a Part 2 or 3 qualified architect or technician with extensive experience at all RIBA stages
- proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- a minimum of five years UK experience
- expert knowledge of UK building regulations and NHBC
- proven experience of producing construction drawing packages and specifications
- experienced delivering large scale residential or mixed-use projects, as part of a team
- fantastic technical knowledge
- excellent attention to detail
- comfortable being given a high level of responsibility
- able to work independently and within a team
- can manage priorities with minimal guidance
- fluent in both written and spoken English
- has ideally some experience with one or more of the following: Dynamo, Revit API, python or other coding languages
