Studio/personal assistant
at Peter Mikic Interiors
Peter Mikic Interiors is hiring a studio/personal assistant to join its team in London.
Primarily the role will be as PA to Peter, but will also involve work related to the studio. You’ll be based at our busy east London studio alongside our design and business support team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in a similar role, be friendly, punctual, and extremely well organised.
The role will be varied and include the following responsibilities
Personal assistant:
- planning an organisation of Peter’s diaries, both business and personal
- liaising with clients, client representatives and other key stakeholders
- developing working relationships with consultants and personal acquaintances
- maintaining contact lists and schedules
- travel organisation, including flights, cars, visas, hotels, Covid19 related admin
- assistance with day-to-day tasks
- management of property portfolio related matters
- organising events
- meeting minuting
- liaising with other personal staff
- acting with discretion
Studio assistant:
- assisting studio manager with general administrative duties
- providing design team with general interior design support, including procurement, presentations and meetings
- duties ensuring the studio is well stock with essentials
- ensuring the studio is presentable at all times and assisting with sample library organisation
- organising studio events, making reservations
Key attributes:
- self-motivated and enthusiastic
- critical thinking
- hard working, with proven ability to work to deadlines
- ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- skilled user with the usual computer programs
- have a keen interest in the interior design and architecture industry and desire to develop your experience in the setting
Desirable skills:
- experience using Photoshop and InDesign
- previous experience in a PA/EA role in a high-profile setting
- experience in procurement
