Senior stylist
A vacancy is available for a senior stylist at Studio Piet Boon in Oostzaan, the Netherlands.
Studio Piet Boon is an international multidisciplinary design studio and a global luxury lifestyle brand located in the Netherlands. Recognized worldwide for developing total concepts from architecture design to interior design, furniture and product design.
Studio Piet Boon has a vacancy for a full-time Senior Stylist with proven skills in this area.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
– establish appropriate styling concepts within the style and quality of Studio Piet Boon
– producing appropriate designs and presentations in the style and quality of Studio Piet Boon
– developing of one or more design projects at a time, taking into account both the technical and practical application of the design and also taking into account the wishes of the customer / client
– monitoring from design until completion one or more (styling) design projects at a time
– extensive contact with the client/third party, within the terms of the contract/project, guiding the design process
Skills and experience:
– bachelor/master degree styling
– more than five years international experience interior styling, concept development
– thorough knowledge of furniture brands, good colour knowledge and sense of detail and attention to client’s desires
– required knowledge of various products and materials and knowledge of art and design (galleries)
– knowledge of the latest trends in the field of (interior) styling
– experience with programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
– ability to prioritise, multitask
– communicates clearly, professionally and effectively with coworkers (especially Designers) and clients;
– excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any knowledge of Dutch language is a plus.
