Project managers - residential refurbishments
Holloways of Ludlow Design & Build is looking for project managers for residential refurbishments to join its London office.
We are an award-winning kitchen design and home refurbishment company based in Mortlake, southwest London.
We specialise in truly beautiful kitchens and the space that surrounds them. Being a design and build company means that we are able to take our clients from the initial concept stage, right through to the end of their project. We are looking for someone who is experienced in managing residential projects, where you are working directly for the home owners and are under their careful watch. As many of our projects are a single floor, the client often chooses to stay at home for the duration of the works. For full home refurbishments, expect the clients to still have frequent visits to site.
About you:
– as comfortable updating spreadsheets in the office, as you are on site instructing and working with the site manager
– at least five years experience in residential refurbishments
– good, up to date, working knowledge of building and health and safety regulations
– ideally you are able to use AutoCAD or similar design programme, even if it is just to update existing drawings
– great communicator
– ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and foresee problems
– you are confident driving in London -ideally own car
– you have an interest in interiors and a great eye for detail
Typical project value is £250K-£900K.
Our work is mostly kitchen extensions and internal refurbishments. However our kitchen designers are a wonderful team, who like to push the boundaries and give clients the best space for them, which can mean having to get rather creative. Do not expect to be doing the same thing over and over, but do expect to see the finished space featured in KBB, Homes and Gardens, Grand Designs Magazine, etc.
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible to allow for a handover from one of our existing team, however we are happy to wait for the right person should you have a current project or notice period to complete first.
