Platform 5 Architects is seeking a project architect to join its team in London.
About Platform 5 Architects
Our award-winning practice creates human scale, beautifully designed and inspirational places to live, work, learn and play. We take a creative problem-solving approach to meet our client’s needs, often for challenging sites and briefs.
We have recently won several riverside and countryside new-build house projects, along with a number of mixed-use residential led developments and are looking to expand our team to work on this exciting portfolio of projects.
The role:
Platform 5 Architects is looking for a creative, problem-solving project architect to join its friendly growing studio based in east London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an architect to gain a breadth of experience across all of the RIBA work stages, grow with the practice and take on an important leadership role within the team.
Minimum qualifications:
- good technical skills with experience of leading a project through RIBA stages 1-6
- excellent design and representation skills
- experience of running a project in REVIT
- good knowledge of NBS specification writing
- excellent knowledge of residential and mixed-use projects
- ability to work well as part of a team, be proactive and show initiative
- the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- good organisational skills with experience in working to tight deadlines
Preferred qualifications:
- two to three years’ post-Part 3 experience ideal but not essential
How we work with our team:
- we are currently all working remotely but are looking to return to the office in November, blending studio time together with the flexibility to work remotely one to two days a week
- 20 days holiday plus public holidays, plus one added day per year up to 25 days
- regular social events with the team
- we enjoy a good work/life balance
