Castanon Associates is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Castanon Associates is a very small architectural practice founded in the early 90s that works predominantly in the residential and educational sectors, and provides a wide range of services including architecture, interior design and planning applications. We work on both new build and refurbishment projects, frequently in heritage environments, and our clients are mostly educational charities.
With an expanding workload, Castanon Associates is looking for an ambitious and talented Part 2 architectural assistant to join our team to produce quality design and working drawings and tender documentation for the refurbishment and extension of a listable building.
The successful candidate will be a confident all-rounder, with both creative and technical design abilities, who enjoys working in a team environment with consultants and contractors. Technical knowledge on areas related to sustainable and responsible design would be required.
Castanon Associates provides a full architectural service from inception to contract administration, and this is a great opportunity for applicants requiring support for their RIBA Part 3.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD. Previous experience working previous experience with Revit, 3D Studio, Photoshop, Indesign etc would be valued.
Minimum requirements:
- RIBA Part 2 or equivalent qualification
- one-year minimum UK experience would be beneficial
- proficiency in AutoCAD
- keen attitude with Revit
- excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- availability to start as soon as possible
