Merrett Houmøller Architects are looking for an architect to join its growing team in London.
We are an award winning practice based near Kings Cross. Our work is predominantly residential, for private clients, but we also work on cultural, public and commercial buildings.
We are a design based practice with the aim of creating exceptional, high quality spaces. But we aim to do so sustainably, using sustainable materials. We think sustainability is pretty important.
We believe that architecture should be for the greater good. We are relatively young and still optimistic.
We are looking for a Part 3 architect or equivalent with minimum two years post Part 2 experience. The role will involve working on multiple projects, at all RIBA stages. You will be responsible for running projects, as well as helping out on other projects within the office.
We are looking for someone to join our team who will:
- be technically minded and have a passion for detailing and attention to detail
- want to design buildings that are sustainable, using sustainable materials
- be comfortable running small projects independently
- be comfortable writing a detailed schedule of works
- want to be part of a team and work collaboratively
- have strong graphics and Photoshop skills
Advantageous but not essential:
- be proficient using NBS
- be proficient using Vectorworks
