EwingCole is looking for a creative, ambitious and energetic interior designer to join our dynamic New York team.
EwingCole’s NY office is home to a successful and rapidly growing interdisciplinary team of architects, designers and researchers specialised in innovative healthcare design. We are searching for a multi-talented, flexible individual to join us in creating uniquely tailored healing environments for a wide array of clients.
The team player we are looking for has zero-three years of experience, and possesses strong visual, oral and written communication skills. A successful candidate will be someone who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and highly organised; thrives in a fast-paced environment; has the ability to work effectively with colleagues, consultants and clients alike; and possesses a high level of 3D rendering proficiency. An interest in sustainable design practice, and in finding innovative solutions to everyday problems is preferred.
Our new team member will benefit from contributing during all phases of project design and delivery, working hand in hand with senior staff to develop design solutions, and growing within our collaborative, tight-knit work family.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
– producing 3D renderings
– communicating and refining design concepts
– space planning
– researching materials, finishes and furniture
– developing presentations to convey design ideas to team members and clients
– participating in client presentations
– preparing construction documentation for projects
– participating in the construction administration process
